Wood Ear Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 handful wood ear mushrooms
  • 6 tbsp Maggi seasoning
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili
  • Coriander for garnish
  • Hot water (for soaking)

Steps

  1. Wash the wood ear mushrooms and soak them in hot water, covered, for 1 hour.
  2. Blanch the soaked mushrooms for 3 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix Maggi seasoning, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped red chili to create the sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the blanched wood ear mushrooms and mix well.
  5. Garnish with coriander.
  6. For added crunchiness, refrigerate before serving.
