Wood Ear Salad
Ingredients
- 1 handful wood ear mushrooms
- 6 tbsp Maggi seasoning
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 red chili
- Coriander for garnish
- Hot water (for soaking)
Steps
- Wash the wood ear mushrooms and soak them in hot water, covered, for 1 hour.
- Blanch the soaked mushrooms for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix Maggi seasoning, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and chopped red chili to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the blanched wood ear mushrooms and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander.
- For added crunchiness, refrigerate before serving.
