Filet Mignon with Spiced Potatoes and Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 filet mignon
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 radishes
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Butter for basting
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of 1 lime

Steps

  1. Salt the filet mignon an hour before cooking to draw out moisture.
  2. Cut the potatoes into cubes and then boil until tender.
  3. Shallow fry the potatoes in oil with paprika, salt, and pepper until golden brown.
  4. Prepare the salad by slicing cucumber, radishes, and pickles, then mix with yogurt.
  5. Cook the filet mignon to desired doneness, basting with butter, garlic, and lime juice at the end.
